Pelamin Palaces.

The Royal Wedding took place at Pelamin Palace 15 june 1904 and the reverly continued for 90 days and nights. Lots of events were organised since the and of 1903 to fill the biggest wedding ceremony ever to be held in Kedah Darul Aman. All government offices in the vicinity were closed and were utilised for the ceremony. Numerous canopies and refreshment hails weres set up to accommodate the guests. There was entertainment every night and the people of Kedah were invited to attend this momentous occasion.
The memorable wedding in 1904 was the royal wedding of two princes and three princesses of the 26th Sutan of Kedah, Al-Marhum Sultan Abdul Hamid Shah (1882-1943). These princes and princesses were Tunku Ibrahim (Tunku Sulong), Tunku Zainal Rashid ( Tunku Dai), Tunku Zam-Zam ( Tunku Pok), Tunku Rokiah and Tunku Jahara ( Tunku Jora)
This historic wedding was also graced by foreign dignitaries such as King of Siam, King Chulalongkorn, Siamese personages and local notables from all over the nation.
